Men's Organization The Men’s Organization is dedicated to providing services to our pastor and other parish organizations; to promoting individual spirituality; and to providing fellowship for the men of the parish. The Men’s Organization meets the first Monday of every month at 7 P.M. in the Scott Room of the Family Center. All male members of the parish, 18 years of age and older, are considered organization members. To be considered an “active” member, all you have to do is attend the meetings. There are no annual dues. The 5 standing committees of the organization are: Service, Membership, Attendance, Notification, and Social Activities. Each member is asked to serve as a voting member of one standing committee. Our largest activity is Lawn Maintenance. We are in perpetual need of men to help cut and edge the grass and to trim the trees and shrubs. All the necessary equipment is provided by the parish. The organization generates operating funds by monthly barbeque sales and an annual dinner. These funds are used for grounds maintenance and support of other parish activities. |
