  Girl Scouts
Girl Scouting is a girl-centered, flexible, informal, educational program. It involves girls and adult volunteers in an ongoing partnership to help girls develop as creative, responsible individuals with a deep sense of personal worth.

The Girl Scout program provides opportunities for girls, in small groups, to experience, discover, and participate in a unique girl - adult partnership in planning activities that meet their needs and interests. The Promise and the Program Emphases are basic foundations of all Girl Scout programs.

The Promise - On my honor, I will try, to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to obey the Girl Scout law.

The Program Emphases - Developing self to achieve one’s full individual potential, relating to others with increasing understanding, skill and respect, developing values to guide one’s actions and to provide the foundation for sound decision making, contributing to the improvement of society through the use of one’s abilities and leadership skills, working in cooperation with others.

The troop also participates in “Brownie Day” and the “Junior/Senior Sleepover.” These are Catholic sponsored events.
