Church
Ushers
Ushers provide a sense of hospitality, welcome and order to the liturgical
celebration. As the initial point of contact for people entering the Church,
the Usher sets the tone for the liturgy with their welcoming smile and greeting.
Some of their responsibilities include:
- Seating people in Church.
- Taking offertory and 2nd collections
- Advising Extraordinary Ministers if communion needs to be distributed
to someone with special needs.
- Administering first aid when emergencies arise handing out bulletins
after Mass.
- Checking over-all tidiness of the church before the next Mass
begins.

Any man or woman, high school ages or older is invited to join in this ministry.
