St.
Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international Catholic organization
of lay people, founded in 1833. The society is under the patronage of St.
Vincent de Paul and derives its inspiration from its members, to help those
who are in need, to relieve suffering and to provide a Christian outreach
to our neighbors.
The SJN conference of the society reaches out to individuals and families
within our parish geographical boundaries, without regard to creed. We are
a Catholic witness and source of help to any who call upon us.
Services include:
- visiting the poor in their homes
- providing food from the church food pantry
- assistance with emergency partial payments of utility, rent
and medical expenses
|
We are solely dependent upon the support of our fellow parishioners. Meetings
are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the SVdP Building.
We look forward to having you on our mission of hope. |
