Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
By our pastor’s invitation, we are called to this most special ministry
of Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion (EMs).
At the altar, all ministers are trained on the setup and clean up after
Mass of all vessels and equipment needed for the Holy Sacrifice. Additional
responsibilities are instructed as they become necessary.
The EM Coordinator assigns all ministers weekly duty. It is imperative that
if you cannot attend your scheduled Mass, you must find your own replacement
and then contact the EM Coordinator. He will then update the official roster
in the Usher’s closet in the foyer of the church.
Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled Mass, and
check your name off the roster located in the Usher’s closet. Also,
even if you do not serve because one of the Deacons are serving, all 3 assigned
EMs must stay to set up for the next Mass. |
