Bereavement Ministry This ministry is an important and caring group of volunteers under the umbrella of the Women’s Club. The purpose of this ministry is to provide a meal for the bereaved parish family, relatives and close friends on the day of a funeral, if requested. The meal is served in the Family Center. While there is no charge for the meal, donations are always accepted. When the church office receives notification of a death from the Funeral Home, they contact the coordinators of the ministry who in turn contact the family to make arrangements for the meal. There are no meetings or dues. You do not have to belong to the Women’s Club to join this ministry. This is a beneficial and worth while ministry for the parish, and we encourage new membership.
