A.C.T.S. Retreats - Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service The Archdiocese of San Antonio ACTS Ministries Mission Statement: To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ among Catholic communities by promoting, consulting in, facilitating and sponsoring ACTS retreats.  A.C.T.S. Core:  Implements the Mission Statement within the parish. The Core is composed of 5 men and 5 women dedicated to work toward holiness of the movement by supporting events, scheduling retreats, selecting retreat directors, and sponsoring Religious participation and fund-raisers. An ACTS retreat is a three-day, three-night Catholic retreat. Talks and activities focus on Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service. Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church are the guidelines for the retreat. The purpose is to instill in the retreatant a new and deeper relationship with our Lord and a fellow parishioners through prayer, fellowship, and the teachings of the Catholic faith, and the experience of service to our Lord, our parish, and each other. ACTS retreats are conducted according to guidelines established by the Archdiocese of San Antonio ACTS Mission; and as outlined in the ACTS Mission Retreat Director’s Manual. ACTS retreats are open to people of all faiths, with first priority given to members of the parish. Please join us for this moving and fulfilling experience. 2010 ACTS Events August 19 - 22, 2010 Men’s ACTS Retreat Director: Mr. Chris Medina October 21 - 24, 2010 Archdiocese 2010 ACTS Conference Make plans to attend the 2010 ACTS Conference for this very special opportunity to explore living in the new reality after your ACTS Retreat experience. The Conference will take place at the Oblate Renewal Center in San Antonio, Texas, and is open to anyone who has attended an ACTS.
