| A Very Blessed and Joy-filled New Year to All of Our Religious Education Families! |
| |
Confirmation II teens will begin their Confirmation
classes with Mr. and Mrs. DiRosa on January 8th. We
ask that they come to the 12noon Mass and their classes
will be in the Parma Room from 1:15pm – 2:30pm.
Confirmation I teens will still come to the 12noon Mass
starting January 8th and will have LifeTeen from
1:15pm-2:30pm.
We are in need of parents volunteering
to bring food in for LifeTeen sessions. We have 48 teens
in this program. We would so appreciate anything that
you could bring to help out.
God bless you all and to all of you Christ’s joy, peace and
love, Sister Elizabeth Schilling, DRE

Lent is around the corner. This year the
children will be making their own
sacrificial donations for Belize. Soon they
will be making their boxes that they will
take home and collect money in for Belize.
At the end of Lent they will bring these in
and offer them for the poor and needy of
Belize.
The catechists are putting together projects
and activities that the children will also be
involved in during Lent, so that they are
giving money donations for Belize and then,
doing service for the those who are in need
around our parish area. Ask your children
what they will be doing, watch for notes
that they bring home and talk with your
child’s teacher. Let us teach our children,
in what we do and in what we have them
do, the true meaning of Lent. |
